About Dexterity Tweezers
Our large plastic Dexterity Tweezers are specially designed with finger and thumb placement depressions to facilitate proper grasp and improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Herewith are some additional skill-boosting activities without using the activity cards.

Play colour games
• Use your tweezers to pick up all the red Farm Friends.
• Use your fingers to collect all the purple Farm Friends and place them in a row.
• Use your tweezers to collect all the yellow Farm Friends and place them in a pile.
• Use your tweezers and stand all the blue Farm Friends on their feet.
• Use your fingers to lie all the orange Farm Friends on their sides.
• Find all the green animals and try to stick them on top of each other.

Sorting activities
• Sort all the Farm Friends by animal type (horses, cows, etc.)
• Find all the Farm Friends with who’s ears you can see. Can you name these animals?
• Find all the Farm Friends with feathers. Who are they?

Count and match games
You will need two or more players and dice.
The first player selects an animal or colour (specify which option) from the pile and rolls the dice. The second play must find the number of the chosen animal or colour and then name it. Play then repeats the above actions with the second play selecting an animal or colour for the next player.

Feature sort game
Find and name the Farm Friends who:
• have 4 legs
• have feathers
• eat grass
• lay eggs
• can fly
• like to play in the mud
• produce milk

What’s missing?
You will need one or more players.
Place a few Farm Friends in a row. The child memorizes the order of the animals in the row. He then closes his eyes while 1 Farm Friend is removed. Ask the child to name the missing piece.

Storytime vocabulary builder
You will need two or more players.
Each player chooses a Farm Friend. The first player begins to tell a story about his trip to a farm, adding in his Farm Friend.
Each player then adds to the story including their Farm Friends.
Encourage the players to describe the smells/sounds/colours/textures/scenery, etc. when telling their stories.
